A Meta-Analysis Shows A Significant Reduction in Anxiety Symptoms with EFT

In a comprehensive meta-analysis called "Emotional Freedom Techniques for Anxiety: A Systematic Review With Meta-analysis", EFT was found to be associated with a significant reduction in anxiety symptoms, with a large effect size indicating strong impact. Analyzing 14 studies with 658 participants, the review highlighted that EFT often provided rapid relief within a few sessions and, in some cases, showed comparable or superior effectiveness to established treatments like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). These findings suggest EFT may offer both immediate and lasting anxiety reduction.

An Evidence-Based Study Shows A Significant Alleviation Of Trauma-Related Symptoms With EFT

In this evidence-based study called, "Clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) Improves Multiple Physiological Markers of Health", EFT was found to significantly alleviate trauma-related symptoms. Participants showed notable reductions in anxiety, depression, and physiological markers of stress, such as cortisol levels, blood pressure, and heart rate. These findings suggest EFT’s effectiveness in addressing both psychological and physiological aspects of trauma. The study concludes that EFT could be a valuable complementary treatment for trauma-related conditions, especially for those experiencing high stress or PTSD.

90% of Veterans Showed No Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Symptoms After 6 Weeks of EFT

In this randomized controlled trial study called "Psychological Trauma Symptom Improvement in Veterans Using Emotional Freedom Techniques", veterans with PTSD showed remarkable improvements with weekly EFT sessions. After 6 weeks, 90% no longer met PTSD criteria, and their improvements were sustained in follow-up assessments.

A Significant And Rapid Reduction in Public Speaking Anxiety After EFT

In this randomized controlled trial study called "Efficacy of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) in Reducing Public Speaking Anxiety", it was found that a 45-minute EFT session significantly reduced public speaking anxiety (PSA) in participants compared to a control group. Participants showed marked decreases in self-reported anxiety levels, particularly within the first 15 minutes, with further reductions throughout the session. The study concludes that EFT is an effective and rapid intervention for reducing public speaking anxiety.

A Significant Improvement with Immediate and Sustained Relief from Specific Phobias Using EFT

In this randomized controlled trial study called "The Immediate Effect Of A Brief Energy Psychology Intervention (EFT) On Specific Phobias", it was found that EFT significantly reduced anxiety and avoidance behavior in participants with specific phobias. Compared to a control group using diaphragmatic breathing, the EFT group experienced greater reductions in anxiety, along with an improved ability to approach feared stimuli.
