Limited Time Invite (registration closes at midnight, EST, July 25th)

Join my LIVE social confidence workshop. UK, Nov 1-3

Urgent:

This week, a limited number of people will get their chance to sign up for the life-changing social confidence workshop with Sebastiaan van der Schrier, a former social anxiety disorder sufferer who has coached hundreds of socially anxious clients to social ease.

Meet Seb in person, along with 20 other workshop participants in the UK, Nov 1-3. Come and connect with like-minded, caring people and be in a compassionate, non-judgmental environment.

Together we make a profound transformation without forcefully facing your fears. This is all about gentle, but profound transformation from the inside out.

See people transform in front of your own eyes. Experience the profound shifts that 3 days of focused, guided tapping will make happen. And of course, significantly reduce your social anxiety!

It's time to release your suffering and unlock your social confidence.

Seb's NEW Social Confidence workshop will teach you how to get un-stuck, take control of your inner world, build your self esteem, deepen your self acceptance, and finally develop the confidence you've always wanted.

You don't need to know where your social anxiety comes from. Seb's job is to assist you in getting untuck, regardless of where you're currently at.

He'll teach you -- just like he has taught millions of people online, and hundreds and hundreds of personal clients -- how to shift your social anxiety.

You'll discover how others overcome their social anxiety and how you can do the same.

You'll learn about the 5 different stages on the social anxiety to social confidence journey.

Seb explains it all in this workshop.

But while that's exciting info, what makes this so profound is that this is an EXPERIENTIAL WORKSHOP.

10% content, 90% experience!

You'll be tapping. Laughing. Maybe crying. Experiencing a wide variety of emotions, in a safe and comfortable environment.

It's time to deactivate the past. Finally change your limiting beliefs. And change your life's story (or rather, rewrite the future!).

It's time to become socially at ease.

The Social Confidence Workshop will gives you the launching off place to kickstart your journey to social ease. Or it will significantly speed up your progress to social ease.

Here are the details

When: Nov 1-3
What: 2 full days (10AM - 5PM) and one morning 10AM-1PM of workshops in a comfortable, secluded, private location in the UK (nobody will know this is a social confidence workshop - exact location t.b.a.)
How much: €500 for the whole workshop, excluding food
What to expect:

  • Every day we’ll tap together so we move beyond the most common SA challenges together
  • Every day I’ll coach several people on their worst social anxiety issue in front of the group. You watch (or volunteer) and tap along and benefit
  • Every day there will be specific group-related exercises to break through limitations
  • Every day there will be lots of laughter and healing
  • This will be a life-transforming experience

Come to this workshop with Seb and...

  • Decrease your SA and make a big transformation in just 2-3 days.

  • See people make transformations live, right in front of your own eyes.

  • Discover you're not alone. Hear how other people have issues too. And develop a more realistic perspective of yourself, and your issues.

  • Feel heaps of compassion towards yourself and others.

  • Meet caring, like-minded people who are also dedicated, working towards the same goal you have.

  • Watch others struggle with the same issues as you. You’ll relate to them, and feel relief that you’re not alone.

  • Get breakthroughs, major insights, realizations and aha moments

  • Be in a comfortable environment where we can all openly share our issues and struggles, and how it affects our lives. You’ll have the opportunity to share (but don't have to) and you’ll hear others do the same

  • Tap for 6-8 hours a day on the right targets (specific SA issues). Other people’s issues will trigger you, and as you tap you'll release this. Easiest way to heal.

  • Feel understood and supported.

  • Experience the sense of community, being part of something, supporting each other, hearing others stories and experiences

  • Ask Seb any question

  • Create certainty that you can and will overcome your social anxiety (so you won't have to live with it for the rest of your life)

  • Feel massively motivated by the good feeling that comes from making progress

Frequently Asked Questions

I wrote my first articles for social-anxiety-solutions in 2008. And in October of 2009 I started coaching my first socially anxious clients.

And the longer I do this the more clear it becomes to me that my biggest task …

… is to help you BELIEVE you can really change.

To help you understand that social anxiety-free is really possible.

That social ease is your natural state of being.

And that this is ALSO POSSIBLE FOR YOU.

Why is this so important?

Well the other day I was listening to an interview between Tony Robbins and Russel Brand.

Brand was giving Tony his interpretation of AA’s (Alcoholic Anonymous) famous 12 steps.

The first step for an alcoholic is acceptance. And the second step is to believe he or she can change.

And they spoke at length about that all-important second step.

Tony gave his famous formula for taking massive action.

Tony: “if you don’t believe you can change, how much action do you really take?”

Very little (if any).

Tony: “How much results will little action bring you?”

Very little (if any).

Tony: “And what will that do to your belief you cannot change?”

It reinforces it.

“And what will that do?”

You take even less action, or you give up altogether. You feel helpless, hopeless, depressed.

See how that works?

Now let’s turn it around:

“When you DO believe you can change, how much action will you take?”

A ton!

Of course!! If you knew that every piece of action would decrease your social anxiety, and taking action is doable (tapping)?

“And how much results will massive action bring you?”

Lots of results (provided it’s effective action - tapping on the right targets in the right way)

“And what will lots of results do to your belief that you CAN change?”

It reinforces it!

“And what will that do?”

You feel excited. You take even more more action. Leading to more results. Leading to more belief. Etc. You’re now in a positive momentum cycle.

So…

How do I get you to believe you can change?

I could talk about the 100 peer-reviewed studies that have been published in prestigious journals, like the APA (American Psychological Association).

But like PhD researcher, and best-selling author Dawson Church said in my podcast:

"There are lots and lots of studies supporting EFT. But the key piece of proof you give people isn't the science, it's not facts, it's not arguments, it's not persuasion...

... it's the experience you have inside your body when you feel all that tension draining out of it.'

I could show you how EFT has been in countless media, like Larry King, Huffington post, and most recently on the BBC, here.

I could give you written testimonials from former clients, like this one:

"Hi Sebastiaan, I’ve been good. In fact I’ve had tremendous improvement on my social anxiety since our second session. I can’t say it’s completely gone but I have had major improvements and it doesn’t even cross my mind anymore most of the time. I will book a session soon for our last session.
-Jonathan"

Or a whole page of them here.

But I’ve found that video testimonials of former social anxiety sufferers are most convincing (aside from the actual experience of feeling your emotions release, of course).

Now these video testimonials are not too easy to get...

Not everyone wants to be with their face on the web. Even if you no longer have social anxiety. But some former clients experience such profound transformation, and are so grateful for it, and so want that others are helped by as well (bless them!) that they agree to me interviewing them.

And I am very grateful for each and everyone of them.

They are part of us creating shift in the perception of what is possible.

They are helping to bridge the belief that you can really overcome this.

A few years ago it was just me telling my story of transformation. Since then I shared a whole bunch of video testimonials with you (all on my Youtube channel and podcast)

You heard how Tavon beat his SA in 3 sessions. Salua told you how I worked with her or a long time. Over a period of a year we had 26 sessions. But the result was there. She was very happy and felt socially at ease.

Alfred shared how in 4 sessions the biggest SA problem he had (feeling inferior) dissolved completely. Siamiak enthusiastically revealed how 3 sessions helped him be totally natural giving a speech and being the center of attention.

And 2 months or so ago Zizou shared how 3 hours of coaching solved 90% of her social anxiety.

And today I have another, new video testimonial for you.

I worked with Sebastian (yes, almost the same name) for 12 sessions. And about a year later he passed through Bali, and emailed me. So we met up for lunch and coffee. He had been doing great. More than 90% of his social anxiety was gone.

And like the others on the video testimonials, it had been a life-consuming issue. He’d get a lump in his throat that lasted for days. He couldn’t maintain eye contact. He’d be inauthentic. Heart racing. Feeling horrible. The whole thing.

And now he is totally fine. In fact, he's started his own business and was no traveling with his girlfriend in Bali!

Luckily he said yes when I asked him to do a video testimonial. What a hero.

We went back to my place and recorded this interview. He shares how he was super skeptical at first. Even during our intro chat. And how I had to persuade him to start the coaching (me and my tricks!).

No anxiety during the video interview for him either, another testament to his transformation.

I think you’ll find it very inspiring.

No wait, it's not just inspiring. It'll get you to "DAMN I WANT THIS TOO"!

Check it out here.

And once you’re done watching this, I have a question for you:

When is it your turn to transform?

When are YOU going to take action?

Here's your chance:

Come to my Social Confidence Workshop in November.

Sign up today so it's in your calendar and you know something good is happening in your future.

Do it.

Don’t miss out on this one. It’s where you will take massive effective action, leading to decreasing your social anxiety in just 3 days.

In 2014 I organized an emotional relief mission for the victims of super typhoon Haiyan (empoweringthephilippines.com).

Myself and 8 other trauma experts and EFT Masters helped to release the traumas of over a 1000 people. And we taught them tapping (so they could help their kids).

It was a beautiful mission.

In putting this together, I had to convince the 8 experts to fly from the other side of the world to come to the worst hit area of the storm to help the people there.

And to do this, I had to convey that I knew what I was doing. That I had everything sorted on the ground. That they were safe, taken care of, and that there was a clear and concise plan.

With a lot of back and forth with my coach, I eventually sent out the invite to 10 experts.

Of them, 8 said yes with excitement (2 had other obligations, but felt honored and were bummed out they couldn’t make it).

And I just realized…

… that my workshop invite to YOU lacks a lot of clarity!

You need to know I know what I’m doing. That you’re safe, taken care of, and … you need to know what to expect!

Now I was initially surprised that only a handful of people registered for the workshop. But I reached out to the people that did, and asked them why they decided to come. And if they had any doubts before deciding.

And I also asked what they thought doubts were that others might have.

Lack of clarity came out as a big doubt-causer.

I’ve further defined two other main reasons why you might have doubts, leading to this top 3:

1. Lack of clarity (exact location, nearby hotels, what happens if there aren’t 20, etc)
2. Not believing it will help
3. Feeling social anxiety about going!

I’ll cover the first reason for doubt in this email today.

Here we go:

Venue:

My mate and colleague, psychologist and tapping expert Steve Wells has been giving workshops in the UK for ages.

I asked him what venue he uses for his workshops. He told me he uses a venue finding service. And that these guys find great venues, in central locations, that are easily accessible.

I will be using this service also. So while I cannot give you the exact venue yet, you can be assured it will be easy to get there. That is will be a great venue. And that there are plenty of hostels, hotels, and so on nearby (and you can use agoda.com or airbnb.com to find something affordable and decent nearby the venue).

To give you an idea, Steve’s next venue will be:

Grange White Hall Hotel 2-5 Montague Street London, WC1B.

Mine will be something similar to his.

What happens during the workshop?:

First of all, when you arrive we immediately start tapping. If you’re the first one, I’ll start tapping with you. If you’re the 20th one, I’ll already be tapping with 19 others!

Anxiety is assumed from the get-go. And it’s not only fine, we welcome it. It means “the problem is with us in the room”. Which makes it very effective to address.

Here’s a rough schedule of a day:

10AM Arrive and tap to soothe anxiety about being on the workshop with other anxious people
11AM 4 volunteers come to the front and I work with one of them after the other, everyone in the group taps along

12:30PM Lunch

I know this can be uncomfortable, so I’ll make it as comfortable as possible. You have several options. I will dim the lights in the room and play an inspiring  documentary that you can watch (so you can remain in your seat and eat the food you’ve brought). Or you can go to any of many nearby restaurants. You can go with our group. Or you can go alone.

You can also go for a walk in the neighborhood. You can chill by yourself with your headphones on. You can read a book or call a friend or watch a movie on your laptop. You can do whatever.

130PM We discuss discomforts about the lunch, and tap through them together as a group.

2PM I take a volunteer and do a 1 on 1 session with someone in front of the group. Everyone taps along

3PM Q and A about the session

315PM Break

330PM We group tap through common issues and challenges

4PM I do another 1 on 1 session in front of there group. Everyone taps along.

5-530PM Q and A and closing of the day

*This is a rough schedule. I will do whatever suits everyone the best.

During the relief mission in the Philippines I had two 2 hour sessions a day. Here I helped groups of 40-50 traumatized victims.

In helping a group to overcome the emotional aftermath of the storm I sometimes mostly did group tapping. Other times I took several volunteers to the front. Other times I worked with 1 person specifically, while everyone else tapped along. It depended on what the situation required. With our workshop it will be the same format.

And it will be a good time!

What happens if we don’t have 20 people?

I have a deadline for registration: Next Thursday, the 25th.

If by then I don’t have 20 people, the people that have paid will receive a full refund.

I hope this has provided you with the clarity you need.

To register for the workshop, go here now.

I really hope to meet you in person, and to assist you in releasing your social anxiety.

Talk with you very soon.
Seb

PS This sounds cliche… But this kind of workshop is what I dreamt was available when I suffered. It’s a safe, non-judgmental, playful social event where you tap to overcome your social anxiety. Your social anxiety is on the table. You’re surrounded by compassionate people who also struggle.

You’ll see others heal and transform right in front of your own eyes. And you’re guided in tapping through your challenges with someone who’s been where you once was. Seriously, you don’t want to miss this! Register here (it even has a money back guarantee)

I think I was 18 or so when I went...

To what?

To a gathering of self-proclaimed "pick-up artists". These are guys who study psychology and persuasion techniques to try to meet and date women.

This was fascinating to me at the time. I could learn techniques to "make women attracted to me". I felt I needed that, because I couldn't just be myself around women.

When an attractive woman was near me I froze. If an attractive friend of a friend would talk to me, I'd blush. If I'd lock eyes with a woman, my stomach would turn.

Etc.

So when I learned that there were "tricks", my young self saw this as a great way to learn how to get laid, gain respect, and get a girlfriend.

Now in the end, it turned out all these techniques actually made me even MORE INSECURE.

And a lot more anxious (because now I had all these things I learned I had to do to "be attractive")...

... but that's not the point of me sharing this.

I share this because I remember the fear I felt about going there. It was scary as hell.

I was really afraid that I would be pushed into doing things I was shit-scared of (which indeed happened).

I feared it would be awkward the whole time (it was. In fact, the longer it lasted the worse it got).

And I cringed at the thought that everyone would think I was a loser...

That they would judge me. That I wouldn't fit in. That I'd be the inferior one. And that when I'd try to meet women that I would run into someone I know, and that everyone would know I was this pathetic guy trying to "pick up chicks".

So since I'm inviting you to a workshop, my guess is that you may have some similar fears to this. Probably not exactly the same, but likely similar.

So let me speak to that.

Because my workshop is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!

First of all, at the pick up workshop everyone tried to act cool and confident. Pretend they were so suave. And had it all together.

It was a "who's the coolest" atmosphere.

At our workshop, there is no sense of competition.

Rather, our it's an atmosphere of kindness, and compassion (with a twist of playfulness).

We're all in the same boat. We are honest about our uncomfortable feelings. We don't try to hide it. And most importantly, we are in a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where we support each other.

Further, we discuss our feelings inside our private environment. It's our little club for a few days.

This won't be recorded. And it's just between us. Nobody knows we're going through this together. It's a safe environment to change.

And, the most important difference between the pick up workshop and mine is...

... we actually RELEASE THE AWKWARD ANXIOUS FEELINGS!

We accept them and welcome them. And then we use tapping to process and release them.

So it may be a bit awkward in the beginning. But from then it gets more comfortable. The more we tap, the more ease and comfort results. And we're doing this together.

You'll love it.

Now hopefully this soothes your fear and anxiety about coming a bit.

And yet I'd like to take things to another level.

I've created a BONUS for people who signed up. That bonus helps them decrease their anxiety about coming. It's a tap-along. But since you're considering coming...

... and if you've read this far you likely have fears about this...

I'm going to share the video with you already.

you can watch it here and tap along.

Once you have done so, register here for the workshop.

Talk soon
