Some people feel shifts early, but most are simply getting familiar with the tools and letting their system adjust.

It’s a bit like your first driving lessons. You’re not trying to merge onto the highway yet, you’re just getting used to how the controls respond. Things can feel a little awkward at first, but with some practice you’ll naturally become more confident applying it.

This is a skill like any other skill.
As you get better at the skill, you’ll start gaining relief more consistently. And those little bits of relief are gradually retraining your nervous system to feel safer. Over time, this leads to reduced social anxiety, more social ease, and so on.
